SENIOR/LEAD ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST
As part of a small team, you will have a great deal of autonomy and responsibility with your efforts being recognised and highly valued. We are currently looking for a new recruit to fulfil a role within our environmental impact assessment and management team. Ideally candidates should have the following skills and experience:
A degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management or similar
4 to 7+ years experience in environmental impact assessment/approvals, licensing or works approvals, environmental management planning, botanical/ecological assessments, compliance or similar advisory roles
A good working knowledge of relevant federal and state environment legislation
Demonstrated high standard of written work
Experience with regulatory liaison and maintaining client relationships is desirable
Experience in project and budget management is desirable
Prior experience in the consulting industry or within Government regulatory authorities will be viewed favourably
