Exciting opportunities exist for environmental consultants to join our team at Coterra Environment, a specialist consultancy based in West Perth.  Coterra Environment provides environmental and hydrological approval, management and advisory services projects in the land development, industrial, infrastructure, resource, mining and government sectors.  Our established team comprises environmental scientists, engineers and ecologists who provide multi-disciplinary support to our clients and project teams.

The successful candidate will work with similarly highly experienced environmental impact assessment and scientific professionals, on a wide variety of projects primarily in the land development, industrial and resource sectors.

 

Lead/Principal Environmental Scientist

 

As part of a small team, you will have a great deal of autonomy and responsibility with your efforts being recognised and highly valued. We are currently looking for a new recruit to fulfil a role within our environmental impact assessment and management team. Ideally candidates should have the following skills and experience:

 

  • A degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management or similar

  • 5 to 10+ years experience in environmental impact assessment/approvals, environmental management planning, compliance or similar advisory roles

  • Knowledge of relevant federal and state environment legislation

  • Developed skills in regulatory liaison and maintaining client relationships

  • Demonstrated high standard of written work

  • Proven capability in project and budget management

  • Experience in the consulting industry will be viewed favourably

Environmental Scientist

We are currently looking for a new recruit to fulfil a role within our environmental impact assessment and management team. Ideally candidates should have the following skills and experience:

 

  • A degree in Environmental Science or Natural Resource Management or similar.

  • 2 to 5 years experience in Environmental Impact Assessment, environmental management planning, compliance or similar advisory roles.

  • Knowledge of relevant federal and state environment legislation.

  • Skills in regulatory liaison and maintaining client relationships.

  • Demonstrated high standard of written work.

  • Proven capability in project and budget management, as well as sub-contractor management, would be looked upon favourably.
